CAN ANYONE OUT THEIR HELP ME FIND A CAKE BOARD AND BOX TO FIT TWO 12X18 SHEET CAKES TO MAKE A FULL SHEET CAKE . I PURCHASE A BOX AND CAKE BOARD 24X18 AND HAD TO CUT THE CAKE DOWN N BOTH SIDES SO I COULD HAVE BOARDING ON THE BOTTOM CAKE. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN I REALLY NEED THE HELP. For a cake board, can you have a sheet of plywood cut? That's what I do for my larger cakes. My friend who is a carpenter has extra pieces laying around so he lets me have them. As for a box, Have you tried like a bakery or wal-mart to see if you could purchase one of their boxes?

Done the search thing before and this is what I found. You can use the thick foamcore board cut to size and then cover. For the box, 24x18 is as good as it gets. Commercial shops make their cakes out of smaller dimensions. Trim carefully and you can use the ends for petite fours.
