Hi does anyone have a good recipie for a scratch cake. Usually I use a cake mix and doctor it but I thought I would try it this way. Thanks Jen

What flavor do you want? How dense do you want it?

Not too sure, I did not know that it mattered. I guess not to dense, a light cake, white. Thanks Jen

This is one of the best scratch white cakes I have used. The only reason I asked about flavor and texture was because there are so many recipes out there for scratch cakes. A chocolate scratch cake is often completely different than a white scratch cake in texture.
