I was just wondering as I was looking through the photos in the April Baby Showers Cake Contest, if CC ever did contest where you could enter by your skill level. Like- Beginner, Novice, Pro..whatever. I thought about entering but I was just blown away by some of the cakes and figured "Why Bother!" Just a thought!! icon_confused.gif

Thanks! I think more people would be willing to enter if they weren't intimidated by some of the cakes that look almost impossible for the average, beginning home bakers. I really love to look at those cakes though, they give me inspiration that maybe someday I'll be able to do that! icon_lol.gif

I believe there was a post about this sometime ago and heath or jackie (can't remember) said this was not an option at this time.

heres the original post on that.

I understand the intimidation factor esp since I see fantastic cakes in the contest all the time that I am no where near as good as. My personal view is that I am proud of my work and why not give it a shot. Be proud of your work and go for it! You have nothing to lose and besides it's an excuse to make a cake. icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the link cocakedecorator! thumbs_up.gif

I totally understand what Heath is saying, so, oh well, it was just a thought anyway! icon_razz.gif
