Have any of you made/seen an Easter Egg shaped cake made without the Egg pan?I need to make one, but was hoping not to have to buy the pan.TIA!!!
I think someone posted about making one with the football pan, but without one pan or the other, you could carve it, but IMHO it would be very difficult to crumbcoat and ice. Icing the one made with the pan is not real easy to decorate. Janice
Can you trim a round cake pan then carve the edges to get it round like the egg pan? Just a thought! I also have oval pans from my course 2 kit. I may try those for smaller sized cakes HTH!Mirjana
