Anyone In The Orlando/altamonte Area?...

There will be a Fondant/Gumpaste class starting on Thursday, April 5th at Michael's in Altamonte Springs near the Altamonte Mall. The price is $18. So far, nobody has signed up. I took Wilton 1 from the lady who will be teaching this class...she is very nice and informative.
Anway, I thought if anyone here might be interested, it would be fun to get some board members together.

Do you have to make a cake for each class like in Wilton 1?
Can you give me an idea of how many items I will have to buy beforehand? Any tools you found really helpful?

I think is was two cakes. The second class and the last class. The other ones we made flowers and other things. In the beginning they didn't have alot of the kits available so I never even bought one. I had all the stuff already that was in the kit. We had a fun class and there were some things hard for me and others that seemed easy, but for the price it was well worth it. I am hoping my teacher is going to offer some flower making only classes. She is checking into it. I will let you know and maybe you can come to our classes.
