I need some ideas on how to decorate a cookie cake for a Father of the Bride surprise "shower."

How about a Thank you theme. Fathers of the bride are the ones who usually spend the most on the wedding. If this is not the case the thank you or I love you theme will still show how apprecieated he is.

You could make a daddy holding a baby (I would guess out of gumpaste ?) then have him looking into a mirror and maybe on another layer have a bride and the same daddy holding hands and say something about reflection or about time goes by or daddy's little girl... Something like that????

Or... Maybe make a 2 tier cake and get little plastic hearts and on the inside of the heart put pictures of his baby girl growing up and some of them together... I dunno..

a cookie cake??? Meaning a large cookie that you decorate as though it were a cake??
