When using KA mixer, which do you use for BC recipes - The Whip or The Paddle.

And is there really a difference between the finished product by using one or the other.

Thanks for your help!

The paddle. The whip will cause bubbles in the BC.

You definately want to use the paddle, as mentioned, the whip will cause bubbles in the frosting. Something I also learned, make sure not to beat the icing too long with the paddle because that will also cause bubble.

Mmmmm, I'll be!!!! Have to add this to the "thought all butter was the same" question/answer file another member had.

Thanks!

JanH. I ALWAYS use the whip. I ALWAYS put my KA on setting 8 for two full minutes. I NEVER have bubbles!
Chaque un son gout! (I think you're French!)
