Sometimes it seems I have no imagination when it comes to deciding what to write on a cake!

I'm making a 1/2 sheet cake for someone in my office building who is having a 30th work anniversary on Wednesday. He is a big fan of Jeff Gordon, so we want to put something on the cake with a Jeff Gordon theme.

I thought I might get a DuPont (that's Jeff Gordon, right???) car and put it on a racetrack on the cake, but for the life of me, I can't come up with a clever saying.

If I were going to be completely honest, I'd say something like, "Spinning your wheels for 30 years" icon_lol.gif But we have to pretend to like it here, so I can't use that one!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

you could make a circle track in the middle of the cake and make it like a clock. (this is while you are looking at the cake long ways) starting at the top you could write, "ROUND THE CLOCK FOR 30 YEARS!" hope this helps out. another shot in the wind for me.....lol. i have the same problem when i need to write something creative.
