I just made an Oakland Raiders cake for a Birthday tomorrow. The frosting is Butter Cream Dream. I want to put the cake in the fridge, but I decorated with MMF. Can I still stick it in the fridge or will it ruin the MMF decorations?

If its just fondant decorations you should be fine putting it in the fridge.

Why put it in the fridge? BCD does just fine sitting out (as long as it isn't for days and days) and the cake stays fresh because it is sealed inside the icing.

I ALWAYS stick MMF in the fridge........I like it to get really firm then I go back over the cake with the fondant smoother and it gets the cake super duper smooth!!!! I always have done that and then I heard you're not supposed to but I've never had a problem.......I've never really had to keep one more than just overnight in the fridge though.
