Ok I have been decorating for 3 years now. Done wedding cakes party cakes. I feel like an ok decorator. I did this for a quickie for my daughters mothers day out bday party. Cinderlla's face gave me fits. It just did not bake well to see how everything should go I feel like a huge dork. Has any one had issues like this?

I had the same problem with this cake. My step-daughter wanted a Cinderalla party and everything on the cake looked great except for her face and I redid it 3 times. I have done other cakes and have never had as much trouble as that face gave me. I have to get it right though, because she wants an Ariel or Belle this year and I am going to use the same pan just change the colors to fit whichever pricess she decides on.

I remember the "ugliest cakes" post on here. Someone had posted a Cinderella cakes as their ugliest cake because of the face. I guess it is really hard to get her face looking right, so don't fret...you are not alone on that one=) Jen
