I am interested in finding a decorating teacher here in Los Angeles. After looking at the sites on the web and from the California Cake Cake I can see there is a shortage of those kind of teachers in the L.A. Area. I am not interested in Wilton. There is no shortage of those classes. Thanks

Anybody from Los Angeles that has info on cake classes other than Wilton?

i would check your local colleges/universities. Is there a specialty cake store around? See if they do classes or if they have a list of classes. These are the places I would start with. Hope this helps and you find what you are looking for.

Where in LA are you located? I took a class at The Sweet Mercantile in Rancho Cucamonga and they were great. There is also Suzy's Sweet Tooth in Montclair (or maybe it is Upland). You can try A&J Cake in Glendora but I have been on the waiting list for their classes FOREVER and still have not heard from them . . . I would love to find others too. Like you I am not very interested in the Wilton classes.

I just went to google and did a search for "cake classes Los Angeles"

This school looks promising, but there were a lot of sites that came up-some classes were full but the place might have more available. Take a look and see if anyof them are what you are looking for.

This one looked like they would have stuff consistantly and they had one last month on flowers etc....
