I made this for my Dad's birthday. He loves fishing. It seems like it needs something. what do you all think?

Maybe write happy birthday dad on the side of the cake, other than that, I don't think it needs anything! Great job!

I think it's beautiful the way it is. I don't see that it needs anything else. It also sounds yummy!

If anything I would write a message on the board. But, I'm one of those people who tend to keep adding "just one more thing" and the next thing I know all of those little things have taken over my cake! It looks great as it is. icon_smile.gif

I agree with the others! Write 'Happy Birthday Dad', or whatever message you want, around the board. The cake is perfect though, I wouldn't write on the cake itself!

I was thinking maybe a gumpaste plaque with Happy Birthday on it. But would that be dry enough for tomorrow night if I make it now?
