Hello,

My son wants a James and the Giant Peach cake for a book report in two weeks. We want to make it look like a giant peach with the two aunts feet sticking out from the bottom (after the peach had squooshed them) Any help on how to shape the peach or make it stay in one place or both would be soooooo hugely appreciated. Thanks for the help.

I was thinking maybe using two Pyrex cakes and a regular cake in the middle and then carving a little. You think that would work?

That helps out huge! Thanks. I will post the pic when I am done with the cake. might have to do a test one first to be on the safe side.

Ellepal has some really great little peach cakes...they look so real! You could PM her and ask how she made them and how she might recommend doing a larger version. She's always very helpful. icon_smile.gif
