This has probably been mentioned before. I just made my first batch of MMF and the recipe says to let it rest overnight...do I let it rest on the counter in a plastic bag or should it be in the frig?
I also found that I couldn't get all the sugar to mix in, but the texture felt very nice, so hopefully it will still work the way it's supposed to. Is the texture supposed to be similar to Wilton's? It feels very smooth and elastic.

Waaaaaaaaay better than Wilton fondant! It sounds like most people wrap it real good in saran and leave it out at room temp! For some strange reason (guess I'm goofy!) , I always wrap mine and then put it in the fridge and then just bring to room temp, nuke it for a few seconds and I'm ready
i have yet to let it sit overnight before playing with it... i just keep mine in a tupperware container on the counter... i have quite a few now and some different colors, fun to play with ![]()
I have some MMF that I made several weeks ago that has been wrapped tight in seran wrap that is still good. Just water, marshmallows and sugar there shouldn't be anything to spoil. I wouldn't use it on a cake for anyone now that it's that old but it's great to practice with.
yes, i still have some from over a month ago and i play with that just for fun but would never make anyone eat it... i use it as soon as i make it, i can't wait for it, it's like play-doh to me
it's the best thing, i just love it... i think i'm obsessed with mmf... i may have a problem ![]()
