Hi there. I know that everyone's skill level is different, and the need for cakes and willingness to pay is pretty much different everywhere you go...but I'm just trying to get an idea of what I might be making per year if I decide to form a business out of cake decorating (specialty cakes, wedding cakes, etc.), and focus solely on that...no other work. Does anyone have any idea? I would greatly appreciate any average or range of "salaries" so-to-speak (since they really aren't salaries), or any information. Thanks so much!
Most of the cake decorators that I know supplement their cake income with teaching decorating classes, selling cake necessities (boxes, etc.). I'm sure that it's hard to do it on cake alone!!
