What Is The Best Filling For A Red Velvet Cake?

My kids want to do a Teacher Appreciation cake for their teachers and my DD knows her teachers favorite cake is red velvet and that's what she wants. (only going to do a 6" for that...red dye and all you know). What is the best filling for it though. Regular BC, cream cheese? Need opinions please.
