Hi All! I'm hoping to start a large FBCT here in a little bit. I need it for a cake that will be completed Saturday and picked up Sunday. I need to get the transfer done today as I have a bridal shower cake to do tomorrow and 12 cupcakes to match the sheet cake with the FBCT on it for Saturday. I had read on an earlier post that a fellow CCer had frozen their FBCT's for 24 to 48 hrs but that they wrapped them a certain way. I tried finding the post but after I got a couple pages in I kept getting a message saying "No posts meet your search criteria" (or something to that effect), even though there were hundreds of pages listed.
Could someone please tell me if I will be ok freezing this for a couple days and if so what is the best way to wrap it??

TIA!!

I froze one for 3 weeks! I just froze it and then took it out and wrapped it in saran wrap while frozen. YOu could also stick it in a ziplock

It would be no problem at all to freeze for a few days. I don't really wrap mine - I just pop them in the freezer. But I have a pretty empty extra freezer so I don't worry about other food odors. You could put a layer of wax paper on the back and then wrap in plastic wrap or put in a Ziploc bag if you are worried about other food odors seeping in.
