I would love to make a purse cake-- or is it cake purse-- for my mother-in-law. Can anyone help with that?
I just made one a couple weeks ago, it's in the galleries, I used the large loaf pan and cut in half, put together with buttercream, it is very hard to get the fondant around it because you will dent, I suggest keep smoothing it as you go along. make your decorations one at a time and place them on the cake as soon as u make them so they take the shape of the cake or they will dry and break. If you use luster dusts it will look beter, I didn't have any when I made this cake.
