I am a little confused about the 50/50 fondant recipe. I guess for each lb. of fondant then you add a lb. of buttercream. Is it tha awful crisco buttercream or real buttercream? Hate to be this way but I am.

50/50 usually refers to 50% fondant and 50% gumpaste... icon_biggrin.gif Oh, just thought of something else... They could have be referring to 50% fondant and 50% rolled buttercream... That's probably what your thinking of!!

It is probable rolled BC. Rolled BC is alot like fondant but a bit greaser, I think it tastes much better...
