Hi and Welcome to CC! I love sugared fruit. I just think it is so pretty. All I do is mix a tablespoon of meringue powder with some water brush it on the fruit and then sprinkle or roll in fine sugar (I sometimes run the sugar thru the food processor) and then let dry on wax paper.

Enjoy! icon_smile.gif

I've heard some people do whipped egg whites, but I don't because of children or people with compromised health eating them. I'm glad to hear there's another way to do it!!
What are your ratios of powder to water for about how much fruit?

I've always done the egg white and fine sugar. I'll have to try the meringue powder and water. That sounds like a good idea.

Hmmmm, I've never really measured the water. Let's see...maybe a 1/4c of water to the tablespoon. Maybe a little more water. I kind of do it by the way it looks. It's a thin mixture. I whisk the two together to incorporate them better. A little goes a long way. You want to put it and the sugar on pretty thin.
