So I am trying to open a kitchen rental. My insurance guy acts like what I am trying to do is sooo novel and he doesn't know how to underwrite it. Several of you have said you use the hartford, but when I called them they said they don't do that. When my insurance guy (farmers) called the hartford they said they don't do that and anyone who is doing it through them, then the hartford doesn't understand the nature of the business..... i find this hard to believe.

HELP!!!!!!!

If you are renting a kitchen or rent out your kitchen, how does your insurance work? Would you mind PM ing me your insurance person and contact info? Do you have any verbage in your insurance policy that maybe I could relate directly to my insurance guy?

PLEASE HELP ME!

God Bless
Alice

My coverage is under the "Business Owners Coverage" and "Food Contamination"

My policy just covers the building I rent is covered (should I burn it down or whatever), all my equipment stored at the bakery is also covered, and I'm covered if I should make some one sick.

My policy is with American Family. I'll try PMing you my agents info so you can have him explain it, but I'm having PC rpoblems, so I don't know if it will go through.
