Help...i Don't Have Any Sourcream

help...I am trying to bake a cake w/ the extender but do not have any sour cream or yogurt... what can I use instead? can I use mayo?

Help? I need to bake it right now... thanks =)

I have a cookbook that says to use 1T lemon juice + evaporated milk to equal 1 cup as a substitute for 8oz sour cream. I've never tried it though and not sure if that would work or not...

My "emergency substitution" guide says that 1 cup sour cream can be replaced with 1 cup plain yogurt. Hope that helps!
