How Can I Make Tiny Little Pearls?

I am making a cake and want to put tiny fondant pearls all around the top and bottom edges. I have to make it this weekend, so is there an easy way to make alot of them?

If not, what tip could I use to make them out of buttercream?

Because of your time constraints I would say to pipe the pearls from buttercream. My thoughts.

I use royal icing with the pearls if not using the fondant or sugarpaste.
I then use a dab of cornstarch on my fingers to touch the pearl if I made
a little tip. I let it dry and then I use pearl dust.

No ez way unless Earlene makes them that small. you would have to have the fedexed though to get them on time. Fastest way is with the smallest tip you have.

I go the easy way, I buy dragees, they come in malti-colors and pearls. Also you can get them in different sizes. Need to get them at your cake supply store.

at my local cake supply store, there are molds that will form pearls by using fondant and just snapping the top down onto the bottom piece. they come in an assortment of sizes, they are made out of what i think is a rubber mold. there are also molds for lace pieces, etc. they are pretty amazing..
