I have some tips and I can't seem to find them on the pages in wiltons yearbooks. If someone could tell me whether they're a leaf, open star, etc. tip, that would be so great!!!!

They are:

74

78

177

594

I'm not sure I can be of much help but the first two are star tips. I got out my Wilton Tip book and couldn't find the other two.

Is it possible the the 594 is actually a 59 degree?

I am sure there is someone on here with lots more knowledge that will let you know the answer.

They are:

74 - a leaf tip to order it in wilton should be item number 402-R-74

78 -is a specialty tip item number 402-R-78

177 -is a drop flower tip however I did not find it on the wilton website but it can be found at www.sugarcraft.com

594 -I cannot find this one anywhere but it quite possibly is 59 petal tip with item number 402-594

Hopefully this will help.

74 is a leaf and 78 is a specialty tip.....I'm thinking 594 is the 59 for lefties...the print on the tip looks like an older one..........but 177 still has me stumped.

thanks you guys

78 Specialty Cake Decorating Tips "cross"

177, 594 I coudn't find anywhere icon_sad.gif
Perhaps wrong number? Perhaps very old, so they don't sell anymore?

Hope I helped you a little.

How about 355....I can't seem to find it anywhere. It kinda looks like tip #100 in the wilton yearbooks. But, it can't be b/c it says wilton 355.

Maybe I have more older tips than I thought. Hmm.....

Wilton just emailed me back and told me that this isn't a wilton tip...unless it's just very old and they do not carry it anylonger.

Hmm...it looks very similar to tip #100. I guess I'll have to try it out and see.

Thanks to all that helped!!!

I graphed all the Wilton tips listed on their site (as I found in my hobby store some of the ones she carries are not listed, and probably really old and no longer made) - done in Word originally and then saved as jpg- Im working 2 jobs now, no energy to tweak and look perdy, sorry. Hope you can forgive LOL- so I just tossed it onto a geocities page http://www.geocities.com/oceanspitfire/mycakes.html

As you can see by the graph, the tips are in order numerically by column

( I also have a row on the bottom for my own printed out copy that reads 'I OWN' so I have marked down which ones I have and when I go shopping I can consult and not double up that way lol)
