Hey all... this is my 1st post... I have been making cakes, for fun for family and friends for about 5 years now. I am wanting to make a Madagascar cake for my (going to be) 8 year old son... any ideas??? Thanks so much!! icon_biggrin.gif

here's a link to the decopac site where you can see a pic of the mad. zoo cake kit. I know you can't buy from there unless you are liscenced but hey we can still look at the pics though.

here is one from the CC gallery too it's really cute.......and doesn't look too difficult, just some royal icing figures......if you can get some good coloring book images it should be a breeze......go to the galleries and do a search for "madagascar" there are a lot of them and they're all beautiful and unique unto themselves

WOW!! That is an awesome cake!! I guess I missed that one in the galleries! I will probably use ideas from several different cakes I've seen.

I really appreciate all you guy's help! I'll post a picture of what I come up with!

Ok, here is what I ended up with! My son loved it!! Just wanted to thank everyone for their help and ideas! And thank you to Crimsicle for all of your help!!!
I made 2 FBCT's and I also got to try the Viva technique for the 1st time, which I absolutely loved!!!
