it will keep in an airtight container for about 30 days. i've read that people have used it after about 3 months, but i've never kept it that long. when you get ready to use it after storing, it will be hard. microwave it for about 10-30 seconds to soften it up. check it frequently when heating it up.
it is kinda soft, so if you need it to dry hard for decorations give it plenty of time to dry. (i give it about a week for decorations).
