I have a student that needs a dark burgandy color for her icing. She used the Wilton Burgandy but she had to use most of the jar to get the desired color. Any ideas?

I wish I could help but I'd kind of like to know this one as well. I tried it and it came out fuschia. I've been told that Americolor works a lot better.

Cheers,
Darci

Yes, Americolor colors are wonderful, and you can buy them here at Cake Central! Click on the "Shop" button above and go to the food color section - they have burgundy, maroon, and just about any color you can think of!

If you put a little black in the icing because red is a transparent color and you will use less.
