Hi! I have just made my first batch of rolled BC fondant and it has not hardened yet like the fondant I buy in stores. Is it suppose to and if it is what do I need to do to mine to get it back to the right consistency? Thanks in advance!

sorry - still not understanding . . . fondant isn't buttercream . . . do you mean homemade fondant or homemade rolled buttercream?

Rolled BC is used like fondant, but it remains softer, and sometimes a little greasy. I found it harder to work with than MMF or purchased fondant because it is stretchy & tears, but it is very easy to seam together and tastes good.

Thanks Caryl! I am not sure I like working the rolled BC so I think I am going to make some MMF this weekend and try that. Thanks again!
