Hi Guys

I save the posting before but can't seem to find it. Could anyone give me the direction on making fondand beads. I know i can buy the bead maker. I was trying to get the correct size on each bead.

I know you can use a tip or what ever size item you can find to cut out circles then roll it up into beads.. that way it can be uniform. hth..

I posted these instructions for making fondant pearls awhile back, hope this will help.

Basically you roll them into balls, the size you need them, you don't have to be real precise with bubbles so the don't have to all be exactly the same size, then place them on something soft, i use a piece of foam from the craft store so they don't flatten till they're dry enough to handle,a few hours) then put them into to a tupperware with a little bit of the Pearl Dust and shake em' around, and your done!!

There's also a great tutorial on Earlene's Cakes site for making pearls:

I have just done a 3 tier wedding cake with pearls around each layer. I had already done the bottom layer with a bead maker but saw this post and decided to try this method. Okay it took me a long time but they worked out great and even. Thanks for sharing.
