I am brand new to the website, and this is my first post, so please excuse me for any errors. I have been decorating cakes since I was a child, but just recently began doing it on a more permanent/serious basis, instead of a hobby. I had the idea of using my moms fabulous sugar cookie recipe, and using our decorating techniques, and experimenting in making cookie baskets. Today, my mom took the baskets to work just as samples to spark some interest, and to get some feedback. Well....instead of just comments, I got 5 orders for the easter basket cookie bouquets, and some others for birthdays!! I never thought I would get such a huge response on the first day. Thanks to everyone who left great comments in regards to my cookie photos!! I really appreciate the warm welcome!

Watch out....it is addicting! At Christmas time, I had only about 15 or so cookie cutters ....since becoming a cookie addict...I now have probably atleast 75 to 100!...There are just so many cute ones out there! I now have them for every holiday plus..so many themes to choose from now....girly, beach, animals, insects, flowers, etc.............

Thanks so much for the well wishes!! I keep getting more and more calls for the cookie bouquets. I'm sure alot of it is because its holiday time, and people are looking for treats/gifts. I just hope that I continue to get orders for all seasons. I have alot of graduation cakes, cupcakes, etc for the summer, so I certainly never expected this cookie thing to be so popular. Or.....ADDICTING as mentioned in previous post!!!! My mom and I have been at the cake decorating store every other night for the past 2 weeks. I think we may have a "problem" hahhaha. Can't wait to hear about your ventures as well! GOOD LUCK!!!
