Hi everyone.
I just tried making my first chocolate MMF. It is so hard I can hardly knead it at all. I didn't even use the all the powdered sugar that the recipe called for. Any advice? Can this be saved?

thanks,

Try microwaving it for 10 second intervals to soften it up just enough for you to knead it by hand. It is normal for it to be rock hard at first. Usually, about 15 - 30 seconds on high will soften it up enough to knead for me.

Just don't get it so hot it melts or you burn yourself.

I'm looking for a chocolate mmf recipe and can't find an easy one. Which did you use?

They are right - the microwave softens even the hardest fondant. My hands were screaming before I realized this! icon_lol.gif
