We used Bakery Craft colors exclusively when I used to work at a groc store bakery and I use Americolors at home. I find the 2 products to be comparable. I especially like the variety that Bakery Craft has, both in shades and in thicknesses. If I could get the BC colors for home use I would! For most colors the bottles are fine, for darker colors, such as black, red, burgundy, and royal blue I strongly suggest getting the pots of the paste color - a teeny tiny bit will color a lot of icing, so you don't have to add a lot of color and it won't cause your icing to get thin or goopy.

Don't waste your money on the neon colors, though. They are very thin and don't color the icing well. We tried the lime green and found that mixing leaf green and lemon yellow together to make lime worked much better than using the bottled neon lime green.

Hope this helps!

I have only used Wilton and americolor. I just purchased on-line some powdered colors (they havent arrived yet). I have heard its much easier to achieve dark colors with the powder...so I think I bought black and red. I did alotta shoppin' that dayicon_wink.gif

prterell, where you talking about the electric colors from Americolor or the neon from Bakery Craft? I just ordered some Americolor electric colors. I haven't gotten them yet. I am needing the neon colors. Thanks for the responses.
