i promise u this is my last post for awhile which do u guys like best petal dust or luster dust
I personally like both. I use petal dusts for my gumpaste flowers mainly. The lusters I don't use on flowers...but on pearls and fondant decor. Am planning a contest cake for April where I'll use the lusters for fondant stripes and diamond shapes....and for some flowers then also. I wouldn't want to be without either product!!! Check the pink sheetcake in my gallery if you'd like. The flowers are petal dusted and the "beads" are luster. Good luck!

Yes you can. I've done both luster dusts and pearl dust in my airbrush.
As far as what colors you get it depends on what you plan to do with them. I have alot of orangey, pinky, and other shell colors, because I knew I would be using the dusts to color some shells. I also have several pearl dusts, some petal dusts and luster dusts. I think having silver and gold luster dusts are good to have on hand too.
i agree ......for a start the main colors should be gold silver and pearl.......then you can go from there depending on what you nedd them for
