soo.... i have heard plenty of stories of how people here give away free cakes for family or special occasions. and the people get really picky, and start getting annoying. well i had the chance to sell my very frist cake. but decided not too for the reason that we were being invited to this party and i knew that they werent really well off. so i decided well since its a neighborhood party, it would be more like exposure, and i will give it as a present. so i really thought that they would be those horrible people, and be really picky and take advantage. the mom ended up just telling me... do whatever you want, whatever flavor, whatever size, 'i just really appriciate what you are doing, and you guys have always been nice people". so now i feel really bad bc the party is a tinkerbell party and all the stores i have gone too dont have the little doll. i want to wow everyone with my cake, but if i dont have a character, do you guys think i can pull off this cake with just fondant accents making it seem like its part of a tinkerbell cake? help. !!??! what are your guys thoughts on this? have you ever had this happen to you where kindness just kills you??

You could always get the new Tinkerbell pan from Wilton and use that on top of square cake (for extra servings). You could do the square cake as a "background" and make it green and purple with swirls and glitter!
Just a thought! I'm sure they will LOVE whatever you do!

Have you thought about doing a frozen butter cream transfer of Tinkerbell-katie....

omg! my co-worker just bought me a book on butter cream transfers, and my bf has always asked me if he could do something like that bc he is really good at drawing, but do you use buttercream? duh... that was a dumb ? so do you just keep drawing over each detail and freezing it?
