Is it okay to make the transfer a couple of weeks before and keep it in the freezer? I'm thinking of attempting the FBCT next weekend (18th) and transfering it the cake on the 8th of April. It that too long to be kept in the freezer or will it be okay?

I've never kept one that long but I don't see why not. Just make sure it's wrapped (sealed) good I guess. I know you can freeze bc flowers for awhile.

That will be no problem. I just wouldn't peel it off the wax paper yet, well I guess you could and just turn it over but I would leave mine on the wax paper and put it in a freezer ziploc bag! I've kept mine like that for a week and it was just fine!
