Do you just break off little pieces and roll them into balls?? Or is there another trick I'm missing.

Thanks

You can do it the cheaper way buy using tube tips as Earlene suggests or you can purchase pearl molds. The molds run about $20.00 and up depending on the mm you need. I've never made then using tips. I just use the molds!

For larger pearls, there's a neat little tool made for polymer clay that makes pearls almost a half-inch. Great for borders. Anyway, you just put the bit of fondant in there and rub the two halves of the thing together and you get the BEST pearl in no time! Makes oval and double-pointed beads, too. Making pearls this way is fun...not like work at all. I wish they made other sizes.
