Are there any good options for pre-made practice icing, specifially for roses? My Wilton students sometimes have a difficult time getting icing consistency right, and it would help if they could default to something else to practice with, in case their icing bombs the day of class (and we have ALL had that happen icon_biggrin.gif ). The Wilton canned icing heats up way too fast, so you can only get a few roses out of it. What will stay and hold its consistency?

Do I remember correctly that some people use solid crisco for practice? I am just looking for something they can have that can be popped into their supply bag to be handy just in case.
