Hi everyone! This is my first post and I have to say that I've been a lurker for quite some time and am absolutely amazed at all the cake artists here!

I've finally come out of the woodwork to ask if anyone has any ideas for a medical/doctor appreciation cake. I work in a medical facility and they are having a celebration to thank our medical staff. Any ideas would be fabulous!

Thanks in advance! icon_biggrin.gif

what about a plain 1/4 or half sheet cake with fondant stethoscope, thermomter, etc. on top. Or a medicine bottle shaped cake?

you could use the same concept as a purse cake , but make it a doctors medical bag. have you seen colette peters doctors bag in her book birthday cakes? it has a leathery look with all the buckles and straps, and on the cake board, she had a stethescope, band aids and medicine capsules scattered about. so cute!
