AH!!! I am having the worst time with my buttercream! I have been trying new recipes for buttercream, used to have no butter just shortening in the one I used. I tried odessa's crusting buttercream but it was too soft! My roses are mushy and ugly! I am so.... sad icon_cry.gif!!! Please help!!! TIA!!

The only good thing is I love the new hersey as the base!! Whoever thought of that is a genius!! Thanks CC'ers!!!!!

lisa, sorry you are having a hard time.. some bc recipes are thinned to the point of iciing (the one I use is) you may need to add more pwdrd. sugar to thicken it up for roses
