Here are a couple of recipes for chiffon cakes, not sure what flavor you want...
Orange Glaze Recipe:
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
3 Tablespoons orange juice
Blend on low speed for 1 minute. Spread on cake and let set 20 minutes before serving.

Apricot Lemon Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon apricot nectar
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
Blend on low speed for 1 minute. Spread on cake and let set for 20 minutes before serving

Chocolate Frosting:
3 tablespoons butter, room temp
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Blend butter and cocoa on low speed for 30 seconds. Add remaining ingrediants and beat on medium speed until fluffy, about 1 minute. Spread on cake.

Hope this helps!

I like a glaze or a whipped frosting for a chiffon cake. I've used a whipped cream based frosting and flavored it with citrus juices...tastes really nice & light with the chiffon.
