Do Your Customers Eat The Fondant Or Leave It?

I use white chocolate ganache under my pettinice fondant and depending on the pan shape, can put a nice amount of ganache underneath which customers always comment on liking the ganache.
Should I use buttercream instead, would the fondant stick more to it than to ganache?
