The two times that I have made MMF it didnt dry stiff or hard at all. They convered the cakes beautifully and made wonderful cutouts but I have seen pics on this site of roses and figures moulded from MMF. Is there something that I should be adding to the recipe to get it to the right consistency? TIA

mmf needs a strengthener to make it suitable for molding I think - gum tex or similar!

Use Fixodent denture powder...its great.

Add 1 teaspoon to the size of a baseball MMF.

Did you leave your MMF out to dry for a few days? That's how I've always done my cutouts and figures-- after a couple of days or so, they are hard without adding anything to the mix. Good luck :O) !
