I have the book but have not made any of the cake recipes from it, yet. This morning I have a cake to bake and may use a recipe from the book. Will let you know if I do and how it comes out.

Our kids just finished taking cake decorating classes at our local 4H office. One baked the Chocolate Butter Cake and the other did the Banana Cake. Both of them came out wonderful.

I just got mine in the mail about half hour ago, and I'm trying to decide which recipe to try first! Most of them sound really good!

I have made the chocolate mocha cake, oreo filling, chocolate ganache and whipped chocolate ganache. All have been wonderful. I have even done their buttercream recipe and it was very tasty. I don't think you will go wrong trying any of their recipes. Good Luck!

I've tried their whipped chocolate ganache and their chocolate chip cream cheese pound cake. Absolutely great together.

The chocolate chip cream cheese pound cake is now my all time favourite cake ... and makes amazing cake balls!!

The ONLY thing I don't like about that book was the way they do their tilted tiers... it isn't stable enough and some people aren't a fan of getting a piece of cake 50% of which is filling! I've done it 3 times for various people and I think I"ll look into the styrofoam or the carving method for the next one.

Hi Glorioustweltfh,
Just a little advice, if you see an oreo, run as fast as you can on the opposite direction, don´t eat it... otherwise you won´t be able to stop eating them, oh they are soo good!! icon_wink.gif

I CAN'T ANSWER THAT ONE, BECAUSE I'M ON A MISSION TO SOLVE A MYSTERY...I GET MY MILK ALL READY, SETTLE INTO BED, TURN ON THE TV, OPEN THE PACK OF OREO'S...THEN I'LL BE DARNED IF THEY'RE NOT ALREADY GONE! PERHAPS I AM FALLING ASLEEP WHILE EATING THEM, PERHAPS A GHOST, BUT I'M GONNA GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS!...AND SPEAKING OF BOTTOMS, MINE SEEMS TO BE TAKING UP MORE REAL ESTATE NOWADAYS!

btw: have you ever seen someone eating oreo's with braces....my husband just sits and laughs at me, but i don't care...pure heaven!
