Try googling chocolate molds. That's where I find all of mine.

can use the sports ball pan to make a small globe

pour in the chocolate in each half separately. swirl around to fully coat inside. pour out excess and let choclate harden in pans. then do again at least one more time if not two or three to build up a good thick shell.

let fully harden -- I'd chill it in the fridge.

to join halves. unmold...

then use a very warm cookie sheet (heat in oven) and holding as level as possible, rub the edges of both halves on sheet to melt and even out.

join them while chocolate is still melted. allow to harden and then trim any excess/drips.

(saw this method on Jaques Torres' chocolate show)

I agree with Doug. The sports ball pan is awesome for globes. I didn't do one with chocolate, but I have done it with gingerbread. Turned out great and everyone at the competition was wondering how we got the gingerbread into a ball shape.
