What Colors Can I Use/mix To Get Teal For Buttercream?

Is there a chart somewhere that might help? how can i get the colors:
Teal
Hot bright pink

I know that wilton makes a 'teal' paste. Not sure on the hot pink though. icon_smile.gif

for a hot pink color, I'd use the Wilton Rose color (it makes a very bright intense pink). Just make sure you start with a small amount of it because it gets very bright very quickly. Good luck with it!

For teal you can start with a mint or leaf green then gradually add sky blue or light blue til you get the color you want. That's how I have done it when I don't have the actual teal color... now I do. icon_biggrin.gif

I think they make an electric pink too and it gets pretty bright too.

I used this chart to come to my Tiffany Blue, a teal color (sky blue and lemon yellow).

I usually use the sky blue and lemon yellow too, but I also add a teeny tiny bit of leaf green...if I need it to be a little more to the green side. Sometimes I'll add a tiny drop of black to get it darker too.

For Hot Pink, I use deep pink and add a touch of regal purple a little at a time. The straight deep pink is kindof neon to me and i can get a real deep, blue based pink this way. I use Americolor, I'm sure wilton has similar colors if that is the brand you use. Look in my gallery for a sample of my hot pink, it's the princess cake.
