I'm from a family of seven girls, my husband is from a family of six boys and two girls. We're expecting our first....a boy!

I was really looking in to starting my own business last year, but when I got pg, I decided to put things on hold too. Maybe one day.

My oldest son turns 2 today and my other son will be 1 next week. Husband wants more.

Thanks anyway. They all ready hit each other and steal the toys and push and pull hair.

And I don't want any girls. No revealing clothes, Bratz (those are horrible), make up, periods, drama, teenage pregnancy (the boys will have The Talk long before that time) and no weddings to pay for.

Oh yeah no periods...

And why would parents want their kids to play with a Bratz? I have never figured that one out...as if kids needed any encouragement in that area...

hehe, it's funny how everyone wants a certain gender...but you get what God gives you, ya knowicon_razz.gif Oh, and great idea to wait a while before starting the family. I sometimes wish we'd have done that but we got started right away. Young and dumb, I guess icon_rolleyes.gif

This thread is funny, I have three boys (10,6,4) I always say after knowing what I was like as a teenage girl I wouldn't want any! Now I watch my neighbor with her 15 year old daughter and am greatful for my boys. I love my boys and would have taken any children I was given but now I will always be the smallest(shortest at least!) at my house and well protected. I have three nieces and love all of them so I get my girly fix with them.

Well, I decided that if I ever have kids, I want boys. No offense to any of you when your were kids, but girls are a hassle. There's a lot more to "take care of" with girls (i.e. periods, mood swings, guys calling late, clothes, etc.)

That's what I was thinking too.... boys are wild sometimes and everything but when it comes down to it, they get jeans and a tshirt and a buzz cut and you don't even have to comb their hair before they go outside haha. You just have to clean up the mud when they are done....

Hey whats wrong with girls??? I have 3 of them and wouldn't dream of trading them for a boy. Although the teen years scare the bejeebers out of me icon_eek.gif Boys are too loud and rowdy for me icon_razz.gif

OP-thanks for the tory about Paula Dean, its nice to know that there is hope icon_smile.gif
