I have white mix on hand and have been asked to make a chocolate cake. Couldn't I just add cocoa powder to it? ANyone know how much?TIA

I tried this once and it did not turn out well. I might not have added enough cocoa to it but you could still see white flecks throughout the cooked cake from where the mix doesn't entirely blend.
I honestly wouldn't advise it unless you have really got to do it.
