What is the best way to color fondant/gumpaste? icon_rolleyes.gif I am going to try to make a cake with several fondant figures on it and I need to know how to color the fondant for the shirt, pants, shoes, etc. Any advise would be appreciated!

Just apply a small dab of gel coloring on the piece you want colored and then knead it in...I usually find it works into the fondant/gumpaste quicker if I roll the fondant in my hands making almost a snake and then pull each end stretching it out and then folding then back to gether and continuously pull, stretch and fold it back onto itself! Wow, that sounds confusing...hopefully you know what I mean : )

I just kneed as well, but if it is a small area you can water down some gel tints and paint on the fondandt or just use those decorating maker pens....
