Help - Ran Out Of Bc Still Need A Border

Just made my first cupcake cake and I do not have enough bc leftover for the border. All I've got is some royal icing and some fondant. Any QUICK ideas?

Depending on what you CCC is, you could cut out little fondant flowers for the border??

curly-cue ribbon around the edges? always a quick fix...attach with RI.

I forgot to mention, the top of the cake will have an edible image of The Backyardigans on it.

So is a royal icing shell border out of the question? Never used royal for anything but accents or "glue" before.

You could use the RI for the border, if you are not leaving it for days, it may break down over a period of time from the fat in the BC...but if you are delivering today it will be fine. Blessings, Shawn <><
