I think they all look great. You did them all in one week? Ay yi yi, you're a stronger person than I am! icon_biggrin.gif

I think they're great, esp. the golf cake. You did these all this week? I have a 2 cake a week limit! Did four last week and thought I was going to lose my mind!!! LOL

You are one busy bee! I wouldn't repipe the whole bear just maybe outline the face, arms and legs. Otherwise it's looking good to me.

Trent- The cakes all look great. I do agree w/you that the bear is too dark. Only you can decide if you should re-do him. We're our toughest critic. Probably the customer will be tickled pink with it as is. Sooooo, if it really bothers you, pipe him again; but I think I'd leave good enough alone.

I would repipe the bear with a lighter brown. It might be the picture, but the details are lost.

Nice job on all the cakes! That is a lot of work for one lone person to do in one week!
The bear would probably show up a little better if you re-piped around him?
One thing I noticed is your Giraffe cake icing is cracked. A local cake friend of mine, Pat, had this problem and solved it by adding 4 drops of vinegar per 2# batch of buttercream icing. She even bent the cake a little trying to get it to crack but it didn't. I am going to start using the few drops of vinegar in my icings so I never have the problem again either.
Your cakes are all so cute...................I love that monkey in the tree!

I think the bear looks okay, a little dark in the photo but still looks good. On the girraffe cake it looks like your icing is crackled. You might need to double up on the boards. All your cakes look really good! You're a better man than I, so to speak. LOL I could never take on a load like that in a week. Whew!

You did great though!!!

ok....where's my payment -- at least two slices of chocolate cake -- for modeling for you to do the penguin?? (ya could have at least dropped about 10lbs!)

----------------------

seriously tho' ---

there all very well done.

and so what if the bear is a bit more of a black bear than a brown bear? bears come in all shades too! -- and black bears are a bit (all things being relative) more "cuddly" than big brown Kodiak bears (think grizzly bear)

be proud -- only thing to do now is bask in the glow of knowing it was a job well done -- collect the money and the compliments -- the go buy more cake "tools" (oh who am I kidding -- cake TOYS!)

WOW! These all look wonderful! icon_biggrin.gif
I think it is the picture too but, the bear looks great! Maybe just highlight the face again. Anyone would be proud of that cake!

You are very talented and creative! I love all the ideas.....ESPECIALLY the penguin! That is the cutest idea I've ever seen! Pat yourself on the back for making all those cakes in one week! thumbs_up.gif

They really are good. The bear is a little dark, but not bad by any means. Maybe you could pipe in the details in a lightened brown. But definitely DON'T redo it. Be proud! I'm with you on the plethora of cakes for the week....I need to get restarted....why do we do this to ourselves??? (The answer is "because we love it!")
